Hi Vijay,

Followings are the answer from our internal development team's engineer:
1. In the "Tizen Bootup Overview" section, under "Platform Bootup", the guide says to modify system-plugin-slp package.
Is it for defining the customized root file system for a platform?
=> If you look at the document, there is written the follow:
This plugin shall be modified as per the platform bootup sequence requirements from the vendor.
As this package is the adaptation part, the vendor shoud modify for the platform when needed.
2. The "BSP Customization" section talks about primary boot loader being the s-boot.
While it talks about customizing the secondary bootloader (u-boot) for the platform, it doesn't say anything on s-boot.
   S-boot is not available at https://review.tizen.org/git/ ..!
Where is s-boot available? Why is s-boot required? Is u-boot not enough?
The "Bootloader Fundamentals" subsection should be updated these explanation.
=> The s-boot is not special. this is just samsung's boot.
(s-boot is explained the briefly because we use the Samsung AP chip)
So, if necessary, depending on the chip vendor, you can modify the primary boot.

If you have a further question, reply here or contact "keewook.lee at samsung.com" directly.

Thanks,
Daehyeon

Title : [Tizen Product-dev] Query porting guide

Hello,

I have following queries on the porting guide (https://source.tizen.org/sites/default/files/tizen_porting_guide_2.0_alpha.pdf):

2. The "BSP Customization" section talks about primary boot loader being the s-boot. While it talks about customizing the secondary bootloader (u-boot) for the platform, it doesn't say anything on s-boot. S-boot is not available at https://review.tizen.org/git/ ..! Could someone please shed some light?

Best,
Vijay Zanvar
